Audiences become so involved with reality television stars and their respective life journeys. Fans want to see them happy and healthy. They root for the stars' highest good and find themselves disappointed and sad when that does not happen. For one reality TV star, things are looking up.
It appears as if Mama June Shannon is finally getting her happily ever after. She married Justin Stroud for a second time on February 18, 2023, at the SpringHill Suites in Panama City, Florida. The couple previously eloped on March 23, 2022, at a Georgia courthouse.
According to a We TV press release, the big day was perfect for the couple. It was an "intimate oceanfront ceremony," which is exactly what they wanted. Mama June’s daughters — Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson, Lauryn "Pumpkin" Efird, Jessica "Chubbs" Shannon, and Anna "Chickadee" Cardwell — were in attendance, as were her grandchildren Stella, Sylus, and Bentley Efird.
It meant the world to the couple to be surrounded by family. "This was the first time the family had all been together since 2014. So it was really special to get married in a place where my family and I have had so many memories," Mama June said.
"We wanted to have a small and very intimate wedding, so we didn't have any groomsmen or bridesmaids. All four of my girls walked me down to Justin, and his mom walked him down the aisle," Mama June went on to say. The couple were happy to have their families watch them exchange their vows this time.
