Woman Finds Man Living Underneath Her House, Thinks He Has Been There For Months

In the quiet suburbs of Southern California, residents expect peaceful nights and a sense of security within the confines of their homes. But for Ashly Guardino of Lake Elsinore, an unusual and spine-tingling experience shattered the serenity of her home.

Awakening to mysterious sounds in the early hours of a Saturday morning, she assumed it was her landlord conducting necessary repairs. Little did she know that what awaited her in her home’s crawl space would be far more unsettling than she could ever have imagined.

Ashly shared her story on TikTok, and it immediately blew up to over 6.2 million views and it left viewers shaking. One user said, “I literally would never sleep again.” I agree with that, I honestly would have to move! To everyone’s surprise, this wasn’t Ashly’s first time hearing these noises. For months, she had been hearing knocking and banging, unsure of where the noise was coming from.

In her video, Ashly states, “There is a whole a– man living here for months … living underneath the house. Do you know how creepy it is to see a f—ing arm come out of a hole in your house? Imagine being half awake and seeing an arm, a dirty arm come out of this hole.”

The mother of two also shared a clip of police removing a shirtless man from that small opening, which is located at the base of her home. The officers escorted the man, who was covered in dirt, to a police car. She found out that the man was 26 years old and on parole for setting his ex-girlfriend's house on fire.

Ashly then discovered that once the man was released from prison after setting his ex-girlfriend’s house on fire, he took residence at the house across the street from hers. He was caught by the owners of that house and put back in jail. Then when he was released from jail, he found a new home in her house!

Ashly isn’t sure exactly how long that man was living under them, but she guessed around three months. Take this as a warning everyone: Always double-check your home for an unwanted roommate you might not know about!
