Gordon Ramsay may have a reputation for being critical, but the celebrity chef recently showed that he is not always super harsh. On TikTok, Gordon shared a duet video in which he reacted to a cooking video created by a young chef. In the original video, a young chef named William walks viewers through the process of making beef Wellington. Beef Wellington is one of Gordon's specialties, but he was actually extremely impressed by the young chef's video — so much show that he even invited William to the site of one of his reality shows, Hell's Kitchen.
The creator of the original beef Wellington video, @cooking_withwilliam, also shared a reaction to Gordon's video, captioning it with, "I guess i am not an idiot sandwich."
Though William appeared to be waiting for Gordon to criticize his cooking, the chef offered nothing but praise.
"You are handling this recipe with such confidence," Gordon complimented William as he watched the video. "Well done."
As William continued to cook, Gordon said that William's beef Wellington was "looking very good."

William's age made his beef Wellington even more impressive to Gordon.
"I wasn't cooking like this at 12," Gordon admitted.
TikTok users commented on William's reaction video, pointing out how William "got invited by Gordon Ramsay" and "got recruited" yet was still "acting nonchalant."
