Actor Nick Pasqual Arrested At US-Mexico Border After Allegedly Stabbing Ex-Girlfriend

Nick Pasqual, an actor who has appeared in Rebel Moon: Part 1, Poor Paul, and How I Met Your Mother, was arrested at the US-Mexico border on May 29, 2024, after allegedly stabbing his estranged girlfriend multiple times. According to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, Pasqual broke into his ex-girlfriend's home and stabbed her at around 4:30 a.m. on May 23.

His estranged girlfriend, who Entertainment Tonight identified as Hollywood makeup artist Allie Shehorn, had filed a restraining order against Pasqual. She was hospitalized with critical injuries. According to Entertainment Tonight, Shehorn has worked as a makeup artist for projects such as Rebel Moon: Part 1 and Mean Girls.

Pasqual was charged with one count of attempted murder, one count of first-degree residential burglary with person present, and one count of injuring a spouse, cohabitant, fiancé, boyfriend, girlfriend, or child’s parent, according to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.

The news release from the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office also noted that Pasqual allegedly "inflicted great bodily injury upon the victim under circumstances involving domestic violence."

In the news release, Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón said the "horrific incident" is "a stark reminder of the dangers of domestic violence."

"Our office, including our Bureau of Victim Services, extends our support and resources to her as she embarks on the long and difficult journey of healing from both the physical and emotional trauma inflicted upon her," Gascón said.

On a GoFundMe page set up for Allie Shehorn, a friend shared that Shehorn has had multiple surgeries, and on May 26, noted that Shehorn's medical team is "cautiously optimistic" about her recovery.

"Allie is a remarkable person, full of warmth, kindness, and love. No one deserves to endure such a traumatic experience, especially someone as compassionate and caring as Allie," Shehorn's friend wrote on GoFundMe.
