Nick Cannon boasted about insuring his testicles during a recent podcast appearance. The mother of one of his children was not impressed, claiming he hasn’t seen their child in “over a month.” On May 1, Alyssa Scott shared a post about the TV host’s podcast appearance via her Instagram Stories. In the post, she asked him when he plans on seeing their daughter.
Nick has fathered 12 children. On the episode of the Tea Time with Raven & Miranda podcast, he talked about his decision in 2024 to insure his testicles for $10 million. The Wild N’ Out creator described the body part as his “most valuable asset.” He added, “If I happen to lose one, all the money goes to my kids.”
Alyssa clapped back at this comment and appeared to question his priorities. Nick and Alyssa welcomed their first child together, son Zen, in 2021. He died of brain cancer when he was just 5 months old. In December 2022, Nick and Alyssa welcomed their daughter, Halo, whom Nick has reportedly not seen in a while.
Reacting to a post that read, “Nick Cannon Explains Why He Insured His Testicles For $10 Million: ‘Most Valuable Assets,'” Alyssa wrote, “Ha ha haaa Funny.”
“Any plans on seeing your child?” she added. “It’s been over a month.” She tagged Nick in the post and added, “But good to know she’ll get some of your $ if anything happens to your balls smh.”
In March, when asked about getting a vasectomy, Nick acknowledged that it would be “the responsible thing to do.” But he also said he’s “not done” having kids.
In 2022, he admitted being a father to so many kids makes it difficult to spend enough time with each one. “Being a father of multiple kids, it’s always the biggest guilt on me is that I don’t get to spend enough time with all my children,” he said at the time, adding that he feels like he’s “spread thin.”
