Even though Conor McGregor was found liable for sexual assault in 2024, some celebrities still chose to support him during his return to the UFC. On Saturday, July 11, he had his first fight in five years. He lost to Max Holloway.
Meanwhile, photos of the celebrities who showed up to watch the fight have been circulating online, and in some ways, people were not at all surprised to see these particular individuals there.
People described the group as “the usual suspects” and “the most unsurprising list of losers.”

According to photos shared on Reddit, actors Jared Leto, Vince Vaughn, and Mel Gibson were all in attendance. Musicians Anthony Kiedis and Noel Gallagher also showed up to watch. Athletes Mike Tyson, Anthony Kiedis, Sophie Cunningham, and Joe Burrow, along with podcaster Theo Von, were spotted there as well.
People thought up several different fitting descriptors for this group of people, including a “nightmare blunt rotation,” a “red flag parade,” or simply “The losers you’d expect to be there.”
“We didn’t have high hopes for any of these a–holes,” one person wrote in response to the images.
“Can’t say I’m surprised,” another commenter added. “Exactly who I expect to attend.”
To be fair, people were more surprised by some of the attendees than others.

The idea that some of these individuals would support someone found liable for sexual assault was surprising to no one, given that they have their own convictions and allegations against them. For example, Tyson has been convicted of rape himself. Multiple people have accused Leto of sexual misconduct. And Kiedis has been convicted of sexual battery and indecent exposure. In his autobiography, he wrote about having a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old.
Additionally, Redditors also discussed the fact that multiple people who attended are either vocal MAGA loyalists or people with MAGA allegations.
But several Redditors questioned what Burrow and Gallagher were doing at the event. While some commenters speculated that they just enjoy watching the sport or attending high-profile events, it still didn’t feel excusable to people.
“Even if you like MMA (I do) just watch that s— from the privacy of your own home,” one person wrote. “Going out and publicly supporting an organization that platforms rapists and bigotry (free speech!) is just tone deaf and s—-y.”
“There they are, saying with their whole chest, brazenly, and in public,” someone else said. “They support The Rapist.”
People also haven’t forgiven Jimmy Fallon for giving McGregor a platform.
Reminder: Connor McGregor has been found guilty of rape and his victim had to get the tampon removed via surgery because it was that bad

Why is he getting a platform on jimmy fallon? https://t.co/0Gv6rBsPs7
Although most people did not seem all that shocked that these “losers” and “creeps” showed up for McGregor’s fight, people actually were surprised to see McGregor on Fallon’s show in June. Around that time, critics left tons of comments on Fallon’s Instagram posts, calling him out for “proudly” hosting and “chumming it up” with McGregor.
Actress Christina Ricci was among the critics who called Fallon out for this. “Conor McGregor raped a woman so brutally that the EMT who saw her commented on the severity of her bruising,” Ricci wrote on social media. “She also had to have the tampon she was using when he raped her surgically removed, as it had been shoved so far inside her. Why the ABSOLUTE F— is this piece of human garbage being given a platform on Jimmy Fallon’s show?”
She added, “Shame on you, Jimmy.”
