Jenna Bush Hager Shares ‘Silent Killers’ In Relationships: Avoid ‘Seasonal Zombie-ing’

Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager, the dynamic cohosts of the popular morning show Today with Hoda & Jenna on NBC, are not only known for their infectious personalities, but also for their candid discussions about various life topics.

Recently, the duo shared valuable insights on how to overcome the often-overlooked "silent killers" in relationships, which are issues that can quietly erode the foundation of any partnership. Hoda and Jenna offer a guide to nurturing and strengthening relationships in the face of these subtle challenges.

In the video, Hoda and Jenna introduce an entertaining segment where their staffers act out various dating predicaments. Aptly titled "Hoda and Jenna's Relationship Dilemmas Theatre," the segment is both catchy and attention-grabbing. It's safe to say that the hosts have truly outdone themselves with this one!

To provide valuable insights during their segment, relationship expert Devyn Simone was invited to join. The segment features a couple on their fourth date, where the woman wants to share a picture of her partner on her Instagram story, but her partner declines.

Devyn Simone’s advice about this kind of situation is something a lot of people should probably hear! She stated, “There’s no such thing as too soon to post, but you definitely want to communicate and ask. You want to get consent and make sure they are on the same page, because some people might just be really turned off by it, and some people may not like living their life out on social media”.

The next segment is about a couple who went on one date and the woman never heard from the man again until a year later. I have a feeling we have all been here at some point. Devyn describes this type of situation as zombie-ing, which is apparently worse than ghosting someone.

If someone who hasn't spoken to you in a year suddenly texts you to meet up or go out, Devyn advises that you should refrain from doing so. But if they approach you differently and communicate an apology for not following up on a second date or explain their reason for reaching out after a year, you may consider giving them a second chance if you're open to it.
