Kelly Ripa looks just like Ariana Grande and it’s freaking people out. On February 25, 2025, Live With Kelly and Mark shared a remake of the Wicked trailer. In the clip, Kelly portrays Glinda. She took the role quite seriously, and even transformed into a spitting image of Ariana Grande, who portrayed Glinda in the recent film.

In another video shared on Instagram, Kelly documented her transformation, and while it was “amazing,” fans found it quite “disturbing” and “scary” at the same time. By the end of her makeover, Kelly truly looked exactly like Ariana. To many fans, the resemblance was too unsettling.
One person noted that the transformation was “uncanny.”
“Wow that’s creepy,” a second person wrote.
A third fan called the video “terrifying.”
However, many people also praised the hairstylist and makeup artist behind the “disturbing” transformation.

Kelly tagged the “actual wizards,” makeup artist Kristofer Buckle and hairstylist Ryan Trygstad in her post.
“Man people are so dang talented,” one person wrote.
Others added that their talent was truly “remarkable.”
Another person commented: “Unbelievably AMAZING!! You look JUST LIKE ARIANA!!!”
Clearly, Kelly truly went all out for the Oscar-themed episode of Live With Kelly and Mark. Her transformation was so elaborate that even her husband Mark Consuelos believed she was Ariana Grande at first. Speaking to People, Mark said his wife’s assistant told him that Kelly wanted him to talk to Ariana on Facetime.
When he joined the call, he really believed he was talking to Ariana, even though it was really just Kelly post-transformation. “She completely fooled me because I when I grabbed the phone, I truly thought that was Grande,” he told the magazine.
Kelly told the publication that her makeover was so convincing that her daughter and her daughter’s best friend also believed they were talking to Ariana.
