Pamela Anderson's '90s style is so iconic that #Pamcore has been trending on social media. Pamela Anderson-inspired outfits can be found on TikTok, and the actress, model, and media personality found out about the trend from her kids. Recently, her look has seemed a lot more down-to-earth, but she explained that it is still in line with who she is.
"It’s just like me to go against the grain and do the opposite what everyone’s doing," she told Elle.
Pamela's new look involves wearing little to no makeup, which is much different from the look she was known for. But she also explained that her look early on in her career was not necessarily her own.
"I just went along with what people were telling me what to do,” she admitted.
Now, after the tragic death of her makeup artist, Alexis Vogel, who died of breast cancer in 2019, Pamela has decided that "without Alexis, it’s just better for me not to wear makeup."
Because her new look is "freeing, and fun, and a little rebellious too," it feels authentic for her. She is also enjoying the journey of getting older.
“I think we all start looking a little funny when we get older. And I’m kind of laughing at myself when I look at the mirror. I go, ‘Wow, this is really … what’s happening to me?’ It’s a journey," she told the publication.

She has also embraced a quiet, slower-paced life. She enjoys cooking, pottery, and gardening.
“I’ve got my gardening hat on, my gardening gloves, my little jeans rolled up, I’ve got my whole look," she said.
“I feel rooted for. I feel good. I’m in a good place.”
