A Clip Of Trump Zigzagging After Getting Off Marine One Is Going Viral

At a recent rally in The Villages, Florida, President Donald Trump bragged about “acing” his cognitive tests. Perhaps he wanted to make the point that he is still doing well as he approaches 80, but a viral clip of him walking has made it difficult for critics to believe that’s the case.

Before speaking at the event, Trump arrived at the airport and started walking down the stairs of Marine One very, very carefully. This isn’t unusual for him. He previously claimed that Former President Joe Biden is the reason he has to walk so carefully (yes, really). Apparently, he’s scared of falling in the way that Biden did before, so he approaches the stairs with caution now.

But what happened after that is the real reason the video has gone viral.

Because the footage makes it look like Trump failed to walk in a straight line. In the clip, after getting off Marine One, Trump drifts to the right, then walks to the left, then moves back to the right again, resulting in a sort of zigzag walking pattern.

Ron Filipkowski from Meidas Touch shared the clip on X and captioned it with, “Walking in a straight line is hard.” Critics on social media tried to guess what was going on. Some people thought he looked sort of drunk, but they assumed that was most likely not the case. “He looks drunk, but it’s actually dementia,” one person speculated.

Others mentioned balance issues, and some wondered if he’s taking medication that hasn’t been disclosed. Regardless of the reason why Trump seemingly struggled to walk in a straight line, critics saw it as another sign that Trump is “unwell.”

“Trump is not well, a commenter concluded. “He looks like a patient with dementia walking down the hallway in a nursing home.”

People also noticed other unusual details.

The zigzag walking was concerning, sure. But it’s also not the only thing people noticed in the clip. “Other presidents would salute the Marine,” one critic argued. “Donald Trump is barely able to walk, forget about saluting.”

Another critic added, “Come the f— on people — this f—er is not well. He doesn’t salute. He can hardly get down those little steps. And he can’t even walk straight.”

Of course, Trump and those in his circle have dismissed concerns about his health. One critic who reacted to the clip mentioned a comment Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. made recently. “But RFK jr said he walks 9 miles every day at the golf course and could do a 50 mile hike,” they wrote.

However, RFK Jr. only said that after he listed a bunch of healthy people in the White House and Trump complained that he wasn’t on the list. So, he probably doesn’t actually think Trump could walk 50 miles, but still, people around him have definitely insisted that he’s healthy in spite of the speculation.

Recently, Dr. Mehmet Oz defended Trump and said he’s healthy.

During an appearance on the Pod Force One podcast, Dr. Oz said, “I had him on and I challenged him to all these issues that have been circulated in the press about his health. He answered them well. Then he pulled out a piece of paper that had a recent, that week’s doctor’s note with all of his lab results. I was stunned!”

Dr. Oz claimed that he reviewed the results. “I mean, his testosterone was great!” he said. “You know, his regular blood tests were great. The one problem was his weight, which he to this day gives me a hard time about.”

Overall, Dr. Oz acted like Trump is doing well amid all of the rumors about his declining health. “I think his success to longevity, as well as good health, is his incredible passion for what he’s doing,” he said.
