Today I learned that bumblebees, just like humans, are very social creatures, who often live in large colonies. These little worker bees are also all about helping each other out in times of need. In this video, you can see one bumblebee stuck in a spiders web with the spider working hard to kill him. Moments before the bee was killed, a second bumblebee swoops in and stings the spider. I had NO idea that insects could be so heroic!
This completely shocked me. I know its always such a pain to get stung by a bumblebee, but I always assumed humans were the only ones who feel the wrath!
