She might be one of Donald Trump’s kids who flies under the radar more often than not, but Tiffany Trump is definitely his child through and through. Her social media posts, full of shows of her and her family’s generational wealth, and enough proof of that for some. For others, it’s the fact that Tiffany never speaks out against her family or their beliefs in any way.
So when critics saw Tiffany post some beach photos on X, they came for her in the comments. Many saw this as a Marie Antoinette “let them eat cake” moment. Others criticized the younger Trump daughter for being out of touch with what the rest of the United States is going through and how many blame her father for it.

Tiffany’s X post was innocent enough. Well, to those who don’t totally despise Trump and everything he stands for, anyway. She shared three photos, all from different angles, near a beach. She wrote in the post, “Summer loving” and included a hand heart emoji. Again, it was nondescript enough.
But the idea behind it, that some see as a way for yet another member of the Trump family to flaunt their wealth, was enough to make haters and anti-MAGA users comment to shame Tiffany.
“Talk about a ‘let them eat cake’ moment,” a user commented on the X post. “That family never ceases to amaze me. Absolutely no self awareness.”
Another wrote, “Oh well, I’m glad you’re loving the summer because the rest of the country isn’t because of your father.”
Are the haters wrong in targeting Tiffany for her father’s misdeeds? Well, she is a member of the family that has generational wealth and a way of continuing to share everything they have against the backdrop of a country where average everyday people have less and less. So, yeah, there’s that.
“Lol I promise I don’t hate the rich,” someone else commented on Tiffany’s post. “I want to live a certain way as well. However this post is certainly in poor taste during a time when Trump is sending middle class Americans to slaughter in Iran. But hey whatevs do you sis yaaaassss!!! Wow!”
Another person, on the other hand, wrote, “What is with you Trumps. We don’t give a flying F how rich you are. You’re all cold, heartless, while you’re dining on caviar, people are starving. You have no morals, no values, no soul.”
Her relationships with Trump’s other kids are questionable.
It’s not every day that Tiffany is targeted on social media for her family and her name, likely because she doesn’t appear in public as much as Ivanka Trump or her older brothers. She also isn’t as much of an anomaly as the youngest of the brood, Barron Trump. And there are theories about how close Tiffany even is to the rest of the family.
According to People, after Trump and Tiffany’s mother, Marla Maples, divorced in 1999, Maples raised Tiffany in California on her own rather than near Trump himself. By contrast, Ivanka, Eric Trump, and Donald Trump Jr. shared a mother. And Barron’s mother, Melania Trump, remained married to their father. That leaves Tiffany out of the sibling circle, in a way, which is why some have theorized that she isn’t as close to her siblings as they are to each other.
Tiffany Trump has shown continued support for her father.
Don’t go accusing Tiffany and Trump of being estranged, though. While her mom chose to raise her in her own way rather than closer to Trump, Tiffany has spoken out about where she and Trump stand today.
She told People, “We see each other as much as possible and of course we speak on the phone. I think regardless of distance, I don’t think that dictates any relationship strains. I really have an emotional bond with him and he was always just the funniest, most loving father. I’m so lucky to have parents who are so supportive of me, of each other. That really shows the respect two people have for each other.”
