Todd Chrisley Returns To Social Media With Emotional Message After Trump Pardon

Two weeks after receiving a pardon from President Donald Trump, Todd Chrisley is back on social media. The Chrisley Knows Best star was released from prison on May 28, 2025. He dedicated his first social media post since 2022 to one of his children, Grayson Chrisley, 19.

Grayson is a student at the University of Alabama. He made the school’s Spring 2025 dean’s list. According to a screenshot of an article Todd shared, students with a GPA of 3.5 or higher go on the dean’s list. Clearly proud of his son’s academic achievement, Todd shared it on Instagram to celebrate.

“God is good all the time, @graysonchrisley , I love you to the moon and back and we couldn’t be more proud,” Todd wrote. “You have shown great character and fortitude and stood with your lord and savior amidst the fire and came out the other side never smelling of smoke, you are proof of Gods word.”

He concluded the post with, “Stand tall,Stand true and stand for your fellow brothers in Christ.I love you Gray Gray.”

While Grayson’s parents, Todd and his wife Julie, were in prison, his older sister Savannah, 27, was his legal guardian. Reacting to Todd’s post, fans praised both Grayson and Savannah for what they achieved while their parents were in prison.

“What an amazing achievement, congratulations Grayson,” one person commented on the post. “Savannah really did a fantastic job holding everything down and on track so that everyone including her can flourish and be free.”

Another person commented with, “And Savannah was behind him all the way! Good job Savannah! You did a remarkable job holding down the fort!”

Savannah, who is a vocal Trump supporter, praised the president after he called her and told her that he would pardon her parents. To her, the decision seemed like evidence that Trump “loves people” and “is truly giving everyone a chance at a better life.”

On May 30, 2025, Todd spoke about his experience in prison during a press conference. At the time, he said he would “continue to fight for all of the guys that I dealt with and that I was blessed to be with at FPC Pensacola,” especially because of the injustice he observed while there.
